Trail Notes
What we noticed on the ground
In the last weeks of 2018 we jumped into our Class C RV, Ms V, and headed out to visit several Texas State Parks. The third Texas State Park we visited on this journey was Caddo Lake State Park. Tyler Caddo Lake was built by the CCC in the New Deal Era and is chock full of Texas History not to mention the creepy Spanish moss and big old cypress trees. Caddo Lake State Park is a fun and exciting place to take your family for a day, a week end or even weeks long trips. There are plenty of things for your family to do in Caddo Lake Park, from Camping to hiking, Swimming and fishing to mountain biking. The number one thing to do in Caddo Lake State Park is to rent a canoe and explore the Cypress swamp or spend the day catching fish from the public fishing pier. Come along with us as we visit Tyler State Park.
