As we make our way down the long list of beautiful Texas State Parks we happen into Fort Boggy State Park. To be honest, this one was not even on my list as there is no RV camping at Fort Boggy State Park. We just happened to be traveling back from two other Texas State Parks and on a whim jumped off of !45 to have a quick stop and walk to see what Fort Boggy is all about. I was truly surprised by the beauty! The small lake at Fort Boggy State Park is just such a picturesque setting! I was also very much surprised by the style and quality of the cabins available for rental at this hidden gem of a Texas State park. So spacious and airy yet air conditioned and heated for year round pleasure!
