In early Sept 2020 we headed south and landed in Choke Canyon State Park. Just west of Three Rivers Texas Choke Canyon State Park sits on the shore (sort of) of Choke Canyon Lake.

In early Sept 2020 we headed south and landed in Choke Canyon State Park. Just west of Three Rivers Texas Choke Canyon State Park sits on the shore (sort of) of Choke Canyon Lake. This Texas State Park features several things not found at any other Texas State Park. Can you believe that there is a gym at Choke Canyon State Park? Would be surprised to learn that there is a tennis court at Choke Canyon State Park? I was surprised to learn both of these! One of the highlights of Choke Canyon State Park is the vast number of birds. From the large wild turkeys down to the tiny humming birds there are so many birds in Choke Canyon State Park to watch. Another interesting thing about Choke Canyon State Park are the American Alligators, just don't get to close or feed them! Come along with me as I explore Choke Canyon State Park!
