In Oct of 2018 I traveled down into the Texas Hill Country, On the way there I spent one day and one night RV camping at Meridian State Park. Located just a few miles south of the town of Meridian Texas this great Texas State Park has lots to offer in the way of outdoor fun! While camped at Meridian State Park I hop on my mobility scooter and travel around the park to explore all that this great state park has to offer. Built by the CCC in the 1930s Meridian State Park is a unique little oasis that invites you in to relax, catch some fish, go for a swim or long hike. My visit to Meridian State Park just happen to be during the wettest fall on record for the Great State Of Texas so many activities at Meridian State Park were curtailed. Come along with me as I explore Meridian State Park!
