What we noticed on the ground
In late September of 2019 we had the pleasure of spending on night at Copper Breaks State Park on our way up to Colorado. This was our first visit to Copper Breaks State Park and it will not be our last. Copper Breaks State Park is so very quiet! Copper Breaks State Park has also been listed in the International Dark Sky Association so you can be assured a great night sky view provded there are no clouds at night. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a small lake with both a fishing pier and a swimming area! Unfortunately the fishing pier was off limits as seems to be the case in many of our Texas State Parks these days. Come along with me as I explore Copper Breaks State Park!
