Mid March 2021 found us traveling south to the lower Brazos River Valley to visit Stephen F. Austin State Park. Located ajcent to the town of San Philip D' Austin and found on the banks of the Brazos river Stephen F. Austin State Park is one of the prettiest Texas State Parks. If you do not have an RV, no worries! Stephen F. Austin State Park has plenty of screened shelters available! This Texas State Park is home to huge numbers of birds and white tail deer. If you enjoy hiking or biking on trails then this is one park you just have to visit! Stephen F. Austin State Park is also convenient to the Texas Historical site for San Philip D' Austin. One of the most historically important towns in Texas history. Come along with us as we explore Stephen F. Austin State Park!
