What we noticed on the ground
There are a number of wonderful Oklahoma state parks and one of our favorite Oklahoma state parks is Lake Murray State Park. Constructed by the CCC and WPA in the 1930's and 40's this Oklahoma state parks is quite impressive! Lake Murray is one of the clearest lakes in the Oklahoma state parks system so fishing is fantastic and water activities in the summer abound. There truly is something for everyone at this great Oklahoma state parks! Located in south central OK just south of Ardmore, Lake Murray is convenient to the DFW area as well as the Oklahoma City area. Thanks to the cabins and lodge you dont have to worry about roughing it on your visit to Lake Murray! You can even rent a floating cabin at Lake Murray! Come along with me as I explore this wonderful Oklahoma state parks!
