Trail Notes

What we noticed on the ground

In November of 2017 we spent one day camped at San Angelo State Park. This huge Texas State Park is built on the banks of the O.C. Fisher Reservoir and the Concho River, near San Angelo. At the time of our visit the lake was so low access to the water was almost impossible! While camping at San Angelo State Park we had the opportunity to check out the Texas state Longhorn herd and the resident Bison herd as well. Our campsite at San Angelo State Park was the most spacious of any that we have ever camped in. Come along with us to San Angelo State Park and enjoy the ride!!
