In November of 2021 I loaded up and headed out to do some national forest truck camping. That is right I said national forest truck camping! Trudy Thunder our Thor Magnitude Super C had to have some warranty work done and I had no desire to sleep in a hotel when there is a National Forest to camp in! Double Lake Recreation area offers up several different camping options, full connection RV sites, primitive tent sites, water/electric sites perfect for National forest truck camping and even a group lodge that is perfect for a group of people to camp in comfort. In this video I hop onto Little Red my high speed mobility scooter and create0 a virtual tour of Double Lake Recreation Area where I spent a night doing some National Forest Truck camping.
