Are you looking for Alligators? Do you live for the days when you can get up close and personal with ancient reptiles? Then a visit to Brazos Bend State Park should be on your list! In my travels through the many Texas State Parks, Brazos Bend State Park is one my all time favorite parks to visit! There is so very much going on at Brazos Bend State Park there is something for everyone. Most notable is the large number of alligators that live in the swampy lakes. If your passion is astronomy then you too will want to visit Brazos Bend State Park as the university of Houston has the George Observatory. Open every Saturday afternoon and evening this is a hot spot for local armature astronomers there is always someone willing to let you have a look at very far away places.
