Trail Notes

What we noticed on the ground

In May of 2021 we made a return trip to Whitney Lake on the Brazos River. We spent two nights camping in Cedron Creek Park with our new Thor Magnitude Super C. Cedron Creek campground is one of our favorite C.O.E. Campgrounds on Whitney Lake. Cedron creek is full of wildlife and there are plenty of places to fish and best of all relax. The U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers does a great job of maintaining this beautiful campground with one exception, the dump station. Unfortunately our visit to Cedron Creek was mostly wet and rainy so we were not really able to truly get out and enjoy this great C.O.E. Campground. Come along with me as I explore Cedron Creek Campground.
