For Labor Day in 2021 we traveled north to visit family and a Kansas State Park! There are not a whole lot of big lake side campgrounds to be found in Kansas and Cheney State Park is one of the best!

For Labor Day in 2021 we traveled north to visit family and a Kansas State Park! There are not a whole lot of big lake side campgrounds to be found in Kansas and Cheney State Park is one of the best! If you are looking for a Kansas State Park to visit then you just might want to ad Cheney State Park to your list of Kansas State Park s to visit! I was very surprised to find that there is a huge sail boat club so Cheney Lake is a great place to learn how to sail. Come along with me as I explore a beautiful Kansas State Park found on the banks of Cheney Lake, Cheney Lake State park.
