On our journey east to visit family in North Carolina we had a surprising turn of events and ended up visiting Crossville Tennessee and spending a night RV camping at Cumberland Mountain State Park. I had no idea how beautiful the town of Crossville Tennessee is nor how fantastic Cumberland Mountain State Park is. I have a huge interest in the parks built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. I had no idea that Crossville Tennessee was the site of one of the biggest CCC projects on record. I had never even heard of Homestead or what it represented. I had also never even heard of Crossville Tennessee or Cumberland State Park. Knowing what I know now, I will return to Cumberland State Park and spend more time exploring Crossville Tennessee.
