What we noticed on the ground
While traveling east on I 10 across southern Arizona we turned south for a few milts to pay a visit to Kartchner Caverns State Park. Unfortunately we wee unable to tour the caverns. It seems that a reservation is required if you want to go underground. It was probably a good thing that I was not able to tour the Kartchenr Cavern as it is a walking tour and I was s very tired after three days of driving. I was very pleased with the RV campground at Kartchner Caverns State Park! After a long day of desert driving nothing can beat relaxing by the campfire and going to bed after a long hot shower. I did find the campsites to be pretty slopped and a bit of a challenge to get level. The setting however was simply beautiful. The horizon was accented by mountain ranges and the night sky was truly stunning! Join me as I explore Kartchner Caverns State Park!
