Lake Waco is a U.S Army Corps Of Engineer lake and features several C.O.E campgrounds. To wrap up our camping for 2021 we decided to spend New Years Eve RV camping at Lake Waco. There are several C.O.E. Campgrounds on Lake Waco. Our campground of choice was Speegleville Park. Located on the southwest side of Lake Waco and features some truly nice lakeside campsites. Lake Waco is an impound on the Bosque River and is well know as a great fishing lake. While camping at Lake Waco we hop into the truck and went to explore all that Lake Waco has to offer.
