What we noticed on the ground

Oct 202 found me traveling north to visit the OK side of lake Texoma. On the way I decided to spend a night camping below the Denison Dam at the Dam Site Texas campground. This is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground that provide great access to the below dam fishing areas. This small U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground only has about 20 sites and most of those are under the shade of large Pecan trees. There are no showers at this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground so be prepared to either shower in your RV or spend your time there being very smelly!! One other item of note is the “horn”. Water is released from the dam about every hour and before that release a horn is sounded to warn people below the dam to get out of the water, that horn will keep up at night if you are camping at this U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground. Come along with me as I explore The Texas Damsite. Check out my favorite RVin stuff on my Amazon page!! https://www.amazon.com/shop/DudeRV
