What we noticed on the ground

Oak Park on Lake Navarro Mills. I spent many a weekend camping here as a child so Oak Park truly does have a place in my heart. Lake Navarro Mills is well know for great fishing especially for Crappie and catfish. Located in the Trinity river water shed this little lake is an impound on Richland Creek (another place?/thing? That brings back many childhood memories for me). Oak Park is found on the north shore close to the dam so deep water is just off the shoreline. One of the most notable features of Oak Park is the huge number of oak trees, I realize that may sound strange but large Oak trees are rather rare in this area that is primarily farmland. Come along with me as I tour Oak Park on Lake Navarro Mills! that is when I am checking on my passenger, sorry. Hope you enjoy!
