Trail Notes

What we noticed on the ground

In June of 2021 I traveled west to visit Proctor Lake to spend a few days camping at Sowell Creek Park a U.S Army Corps Of Engineers campground. What a beautiful place to RV camp! At the time of my visit the lake was flooding due to an unusually heavy spring rain season. Sowell Creek Park was mostly underwater and more than half of the park was closed to public access, never the less I was able to produce enough video footage to give you a good idea of what all Sowell Creek Park has to offer. At the time of my visit to Sowell Creek park the day use areas were completely under water and the water was still rising! Come along with me as I explore Sowell Creek Park on proctor lake!
