What we noticed on the ground

I enjoy exploring US Army Corps of Engineers Campgrounds! In Sept of 2020 I had the pleasure of camping at a US Army Corps of Engineers Campground, Highview Park on Bardwell Lake. Bardwell Lake is just south of Ennis Texas and is one of the best Crappie fishing lakes in the state of Texas. There are three US Army Corps of Engineers Campgrounds on Bardwell lake and Highview is the only one that is open year round. Highview Park is also the only US Army Corps of Engineers Campgrounds on Bardwell Lake to have a marina and an enclosed fishing dock.
