Trail Notes

What we noticed on the ground

At the end of Feb 2022 I loaded up the motor home and headed down the road to visit and explore Lavon Lake and two of the U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers campgrounds, Lavoina Park and East Fork Park. Lavon Lake is the primary water source for most of Collin county Texas and as such the public campgrounds are always very busy during the warmer months so a winter camping trip will always ensure that you get a great campsite on the banks of Lake Lavon. In this video I explore tow of the three public campgrounds on Lavon Lake and show you all of the important stuff you need to know to plan you camping trip to Lavon Lake. Join me as I explore Lake Lavon and two nice C.O.E. Campgrounds.
