In June of 2021 I headed out looking for a West Texas RV Campground On Proctor Lake! I found a great one! Copperas Creek Campground. This is a U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers Campground. Although I am a Native Texan I dont really know much about West Texas RV Campgrounds I was truly surprised by what I found at the Copperas Creek Campgrounds. Proctor Lake is a fisherman's paradise and is known as one of the best crappie fishing lakes in Texas. Many people expect West Texas RV Campgrounds to be flat and desert like but that is not always the case. Proctor Lake is located on the Leon River so there is plenty of water for trees to grow. Come along with me as I explore this stunning West Texas RV Campgrounds!
