What we noticed on the ground
On my August 2022 visit to Lake same Rayburn I was on a quest to find the great camping sites at Lake Sam Rayburn. On my quest I visited Rayburn Park. Located right on the point of the Lake's “V”. WOW! I was truly amazed by the great camping sites at Lake Sam Rayburn that can be found at Rayburn Park! Rayburn park looks to be a little worse for ware but have no worries there is a renovation scheduled to start in the fall of 2022 and when Rayburn Park reopens it will be a brand new camping experience! All of those great camping sites on Lake Sam Rayburn are scheduled to be renovated and refurbished! At least that is what I was told by the gate keeper at Rayburn Park.
