Takeout description (excerpt): Deep in the heart of Texas you will find a wonderful Texas State Park, Lake Brownwood State Park. Found on the banks of Lake Brownwood just out side of Brownwood Texas. Lake Brownwood State Park was build by the CCC in the 1930s. There were a number of stonework projects that were built in Lake Brownwood State Park by the young men of the 36th Division of the CCC. Most of those are still standing and are in excellent condition thanks to the care and attention of the builders. There is something for just about everyone at this beautiful park. Excellent fishing, hiking, bird watching, Swimming
