KYX
Do I need a KYX Electric Trailer Jack 7500LBs for travel?
Direct answer
An electric tongue jack raises and lowers the trailer tongue with a switch instead of a hand crank. If your manual jack works for you, this is a convenience upgrade, not a necessity.
Who it may help
Trailer owners who hitch and unhitch often or find cranking hard.
What to check before you buy
- Match the lift capacity to your trailer's tongue weight with some margin.
- Check the mounting style, lift range and whether it needs wiring to 12V power and a switch.
- Check what the listing says about a manual crank for backup.
